Our Parish
The parish of Castlemaine is located between Tralee and Milltown. It includes the villages of Castlemaine and Boolteens. Other areas include Kiltallagh and Aughils. The area has 4 Catholic primary schools and one Church of Ireland school.

We have 2 Catholic churches, one in Keel and the other in Kiltallagh.
The community centre in Keel is on the site of the old school. The child care centre which includes a creche and after schools is located adjacent to it.

The football field is in Keel, while Castlemaine people play football with the Milltown/ Castlemaine club.

Castlemaine Utd is the name of the adult soccer team, many of the students play underage soccer in Killorglin,

New information boards have been placed opposite the church in Keel showing the places of interest in the local area and the route of the Keel uphill downhill loop walk.
