On the 15th of October Marc’s Grandad made two bird houses for the school. We are going for our fifth green flag and the theme is Biodiversity. Biodiversity is the variety of different types of life found on earth. Mrs. Griffin is in charge of this years green flag. It Is also about fauna and flora. Fauna is about animal life and flora is about plants. The earliest undisputed evidence of life on earth dates at least from 3.5 billion years ago.

2015
Work is on going with regard to the 6 habitats that were identified around the school. As this is year one of our Biodiversity flag we are using it as an opportunity to try to understand all that Biodiversity is.

2015
We had a orienteering game this week. It was our first time doing something like this before. It didn’t go so well because some of the numbers didn’t add up. But we will do it next year again and hopefully it will work out.

The committee has been hard at work on the theme of Biodiversity.
They have also been working closely with Mrs. Griffin in helping her to put together our application for our second Primary Maths and Science Award.
